The Otago Herb Society, is a friendly Dunedin based group of enthusiasts who enjoy learning more about all aspects of herbal use -

Horticulture, culinary, medicinal, crafts, history.

Monthly meetings often feature a ‘herb of the night’ and a variety of speakers and hands on activities which involve members in a broad range of topics.

• Extensive library of books and magazines
• Newsletter sent to member before each meeting containing herb information, programme details, speakers notes etc.
• Herb Garden rosters – Glenfalloch and Botanic Gardens Herb Gardens. An opportunity to work and learn together.
• Annual bus trips to visit gardens
• Practical workshops
• Links with the Herb Federation of NZ and other Herb Societies

Our meetings are held on the fourth Thursday of the month at 7.30pm (unless noted otherwise in the Programme) at the Botanic Gardens Education Centre, Lovelock Ave, Dunedin. Do come along, we'll do our best to make you feel very welcome.
