Your local herb society is participating in Herb Awareness Week.
This event focuses on the awareness of the many benefits to be
gained by including herbs for every day use for culinary, gardening,
home remedies and crafts.
The Herb Federation of New Zealand is the umbrella group representing 24 herb societies and numerious individual members.
Throughout New Zealand, local Herb Societies are coordinating and
presenting a wide range of activities during the week 9th - 16th
March, including:
- Seminars and Workshops with local and national spokespersons
- Restaurants featuring herbal menus
- Open Garden Days
- Library promotions
- Market Days
- Children's activities
- and much, much more
